My Story

I know too well what it’s like to live in a body that feels out of sync and constantly on edge.

In my late 30s, despite ‘doing everything right’ - eating well, exercising, practicing yoga, taking supplements - I was struggling with fatigue, hormonal issues, digestive discomfort, recurring infections, and creeping anxiety. I told myself it was ‘just’ stress but deep inside I felt lost and depressed.

I knew that my body was sending me messages but I didn’t know how to listen.

Like so many women, I had learned to push through the symptoms of my body - ignoring my my body because it felt too scary to come closer or go within, while quietly abandoning myself in the endless pleasing and over-giving, staying small and powerless. I didn’t yet know these were my survival patterns, deeply wired into my nervous system, and how it was costing me my health, my power, and my quality of life.

The real shift happened when I discovered nervous system regulation and somatic work. When I started to join the dots that my childhood trauma together with the cultural conditioning being socialised as a female are stored in my body, I knew I needed to heal. When I stumbled upon an embodiment session, something profound was happening when I was working with my own nervous system. For the first time, I felt safe enough to stop pushing and simply notice what was happening around me and in my body. That sense of safety to be more present in my body changed everything.

Through the skilful body-based tools and practice and in the presence of a compassionate coach, my body began to soften, release, and recover. For the first time in my life I felt free from high-functioning depression and anxiety. I reconnected with my anger and my boundaries, feeling a source of personal power and energy returning inside of my body. My chronic health issues resolved naturally in response to a healthier nervous system, capacity and emotional balance. I began to feel at home in myself again.

Because of the profound transformation that I had experienced in such gentle yet deep work, I trained in somatic therapy and embodiment coaching, and I started weaving this somatic work together with integrative nutrition for women.

Today, at 50, I feel more grounded, energised, and alive than ever before. Ale to move with life and be kind to myself while having the courage to live a life that feels like it belongs to me. And it’s now my purpose to guide other women through the same journey — from over-functioning and burnout back to the wisdom of their bodies, their deep intelligence, embodied boundaries, and self-trust.

Why I do this work

I am deeply inspired and moved to help women who feel trapped in the cycles of stress, illness, and exhaustion find their way home to themselves.

I combine trauma-informed nervous system work, somatic practices, and integrative nutrition to support your body’s natural healing capacity and return home to yourself. This isn’t about quick fixes or rigid protocols. It’s about building safety in your body, cultivating true resilience in your nervous system, and nourishing a deeper connection to yourself, so you can:

  • Release the hidden stress patterns driving fatigue, anxiety, and burnout.

  • Reclaim anger as a natural boundary-setting force and a source of personal power.

  • Feel safe saying no, asking for what you need, and honouring your limits without guilt.

  • Experience relationships with more authenticity, ease, and deeper connection - without self-abandonment or co-dependence.

  • Restore natural energy flows, innate vitality, and trust in your body.

Healing isn’t about becoming a different person. It’s about remembering who you truly are - and learning to live from that place of inner safety.
