A private community space with my monthly content round-up emails, along with invites to my free Embodied Grounding Sessions, and nourishing recipes - from my kitchen to yours - to support you through peri/menopause and midlife transition.

My Embodied Grounding Sessions are gentle and guided embodied practice sessions for high-functioning women who want to dip their toe into embodiment and nervous system work to feel more grounded, present and connected.

The sessions are a bit like inserting a pause in your day - supporting you in meeting yourself and your emotions with more capacity, self-compassion and acceptance, calming when stress and anxiety arise.

Embodiment practice and sensory literacy skills support stabilisation of the nervous system that’s stuck in chronic stress and anxiety and as such is a prerequisite in an essential sequence in trauma-healing and rewiring the body for calm, health and better balance.

The groups are intentionally small (8 women maximum) so we can be more present with the practice. The sessions are 30-minutes online via Microsoft Teams designed to fit easily into your day. No pressure, come as you are.

Why this newsletter matters:

There's a lot of information out there about perimenopause, but the role your nervous system plays in your health, healing and change continues to be the big missing piece.

The predominant narrative about midlife in our anti-aging culture? It's all about 'it's all downhill from here', or 'it's a crisis to be managed'.

What if we could reclaim midlife from a crisis to be managed into a catalyst for healing, growth and sustainable change?

From my experience, the midlife transition isn't about managing symptoms - it's about finally becoming who you truly are.

You don't need more resilience - you need to grow your capacity in your nervous system to move from survival mode into connection, joy, presence and authenticity. This requires healing the trauma stored in the body, because otherwise the nervous system perceives all change (even when it's for the better) as a threat to your survival.

You should be very proud of yourself:

You've invested time and energy trying different things to help manage your stress, energy and boundaries better. To me, this shows the kind of person you are - craving a deeper connection to yourself and your life.

But, as a highly sensitive and empathetic woman holding for so long what's not yours to carry alone, you've been running into systems that don't provide the support structures you need - that don't meet you where you are.

You're listening to your body's whispers. You have a deep desire to trust your body, your intuition.

And you're right - your body is worth listening to. Building a healthy relationship between body and mind through nervous system work has a profoundly transformational effect on your health and how you move through change.
