… so you can stop chasing symptoms with self-care trends that leave you feeling frustrated and wondering what’s wrong with you.

Because sometimes low energy isn’t a sign that you need to add more fuel. Sometimes it’s a sign that something unnecessary is consuming what is already there.

Followed by a two-hour gentle and focused 1:1 session to gain clarity on why your self-care and stress management practices might be making things worse. We then create a personalised ‘Do Less’ Starter Plan simple simple body-based tools to tune into your body, calm the overwhelm and restore energy and ease in your body and life - without more efforting or adding yet another thing to your self-care list.

How can I get more energy? What can I do to feel less exhausted?

That's usually the first question from the women I work with. But before we go there, we need to ask a different question.

Where is your energy leaking? What hidden stressors are present in your body?

We assume life naturally provides energy and vitality will flow if we just do more of the good things. So when energy runs low, the (conditioned) thinking is to add something back in. To do more. More supplements. More motivation. More stimulation. A better routine, a healthier diet, more meditating.

Here is the thing though: if you keep pouring water into a bucket with holes, it will never be full. It will not replenish you.

No matter how much you add, if the leaks aren't found and addressed first, you won't see the change you need.

So before we ask what you need more of, we need to ask what you need less of:

physiologically, mentally & emotionally

so you can reduce overwhelm, restore capacity and return home to yourself.

If you've been doing the more-yoga, more-protein, more-supplements route in an effort to optimise your health, some part of you has likely already noticed it isn't quite adding up. The effort goes in. The results don't fully arrive. And you've probably started to sense that the problem isn't your discipline, or the plan, or the latest trend in breathwork technique.

This isn’t because you’re doing it wrong. You are the type of person who deeply cares and craves good health and a body that you can rely on so you can have the energy and vitality to do the things that bring you joy and that matter to you.

The problem is that you are doing them in the wrong order. When the nervous system is in survival mode, the vital systems in the body such as the digestion shut down. The immune system weakens. The hormonal system under havoc.

The body can only absorb nutrients when the system is whole enough to keep the goodness in and to eliminate the toxicity whether in food, or people, or emotions. If the system underneath is shut down and depleted, adding more good things to it doesn't automatically mean more energy. Some of it just leaks straight back out, the way it would from a bucket with holes.

Which means the question was never really ‘what should I add’. It was ‘what's stopping the energy I already have from staying’.

Women are the society’s stress absorbers.

Energy leaks aren't usually one big obvious thing. They're a pattern - often invisible because it's become so familiar it feels like just who you are.

It might be poor sleep. Overwork. Hyper-resilience. Very often it's unresolved or blocked emotion, and unprocessed stress held in the body from years (or a lifetime) of losing yourself in over-functioning.

Unmet needs are one of the biggest sources of energy leaks we carry, and when they go unmet for long enough, that neglect becomes chronic stress.

Sometimes the leak is in your environment - at work, in a relationship - where you're habitually giving more than you have, or performing capacity that isn't there any more.

And sometimes the leak is in the things you’re meant to enjoy - the sugar, the caffeine, exercising. Reaching for stimulation to get through the day, without noticing that it's one more thing asking your system to keep up rather than letting it rest.

Why this shows up now, in midlife

Over-functioning with too little support is one of the most common survival patterns I see in women in midlife facing burnout and pushing through overwhelm.

It's not a personality trait. It's not a personal failing. It's a survival pattern — and in midlife, the body starts to say no to the over-functioning and over-giving that got you this far. What used to work stops working, not because you're doing it wrong, but because the system has run out of runway to keep absorbing the cost.

It’s what happens when a system designed for survival has reached its edge and no one witnesses it breaking.

You've learned to override your body's signals to keep the peace, to belong, to survive. But your body doesn't stay quiet forever. The fatigue is here, and it isn’t laziness. It’s unprocessed grief. Your anxiety keeps you up at night but it isn’t the problem - it’s unlived clarity trying to emerge. Your symptoms aren't random; they're your body’s unexpressed boundaries and your soul's refusal to give up on you, even when you've given up on yourself.

If this is you, you are not alone.

I see you. I have been there…

You’re not broken. This isn’t happening to you because you are being useless; it’s just too much. You don’t need more performance. You need space. Less doing. More being. Not another push. Not more effort. A place to put it all down, slowly and safely. Being held with real kindness.

Why this isn't just about stress management

If you've already tried standard stress management practices and found it didn't touch what you were actually carrying, there's a reason for that.

Overwhelm isn't only mental and emotional. It's biological. For many high-achieving women, stress has crossed a line into something the body is holding onto - a state we call functional freeze. It's where you're still fully functioning, still performing, still getting everything done, but underneath it your nervous system is in a survival state which you experience as disconnection and depletion.

That's why the self-protective patterns so many of us wear as strengths - perfectionism, being the high-achiever, staying busy, people-pleasing, over-caring, hyper-independence - can also be what's keeping you stuck. They let you keep functioning. They also keep you predominantly in a state of freeze.

Stress management alone doesn't reach this, because it's still asking you to manage your way through a state that needs something different: not more effort, but a gentle slowing down and tending to your needs.

The Four Phases of My Healing Approach

My approach to healing moves through four phases, in sequence — Stabilise, Release, Reclaim, Rebuild — and the order matters as much as the practices themselves.

You are here: Phase 1, Stabilise. This is where we identify your energy leaks and eliminate the unnecessary stress triggers keeping your system in sympathetic overdrive and depletion. We look closely at stimulants in your diet and lifestyle, and at the coping mechanisms keeping you trapped in the cycle of stress, overwhelm and exhaustion. This is what begins to tone down the stress response, create space, and cultivate capacity - so you can feel calmer, regain natural energy, and tune back into true health and self-care.

Everything that comes after this depends on it. Phase 2 is where we release stored stress and tension held in the body. Phase 3 is where you reclaim your agency, your boundaries, your voice, and the full range of what you feel. Phase 4 is where you rebuild a life and health that's actually meaningful to you - not another optimisation project, not more performing.

But none of that is possible while the system is still leaking. This is where we start.

What’s included inside the

Decode Your Fatigue holistically

experience:

PART 1: CLARITY

Self-Assessment

Before we meet, I’ll send you a self-assessment that helps identify your hidden stressors and uncover energy leaks - physiological, mental and emotional - and where your nervous system dominant states currently sits. Take it at your own pace, across more than one sitting if that suits you better.

PART 2: CONFIDENCE

Two-hour Spacious Session

We'll spend the first half of the session in somatic practice together, with a break in between, and the second half building your personalised ‘do less’ Starter Plan - grounded in what your own assessment has shown us, not a generic protocol.

Through addressing low hanging fruit of false anxiety and hidden stressors in the mind-body as we devise a simple and effective adjustments that you take with you to experience a return of energy and regeneration in your body.

This helps you more stability in your body and feel confident in your own body and the innate intelligence, and trust that you are whole and you already have what you need within you.

PART 3: CONNECTION

Two-week Integration Check-in

You won’t be left to your own devices after this. We will connected via email and I'll check in with you within two weeks to hear how you're doing, what you're noticing, and what's shifting.

Throughout, the skill you're building isn't one more thing to do. It's learning to slow down enough to notice what’s in the present moment. And then to actually tend to what you notice - rather than pushing past it, the way you probably always have, or doing what you think you should be doing, punishing yourself into activity you’re not really present for.

Because before we can nourish and build, we need to find what's depleting you. Once the leaks are addressed, your body no longer has to fight just to keep up.

You don’t need to rely on coping strategies to feel better - it’s time to stop chasing symptoms and start investing your time on understanding how your body works, learning to trust yourself (as in, your body) and on living more fully.

I’ve found health and healing over the last decade by harnessing the gentle and often overlooked power of somatics. As a trauma-educated Integrative Health Coach trained in embodied healing systems, I can tell you that in order to address your health - you need to go beyond the brain and address the nervous system and stored emotional stress in the body.

Because we cannot successfully treat and heal stress related health issues without incorporating the entirety of your nervous system, holistically.

Nervous system integrity and resilience allows you to tune into the wisdom of your body and self-regulate so you can discharge stored stress in the body creating the foundation for a healthier, more authentic and fulfilling life.

We live in a world in which women’s nervous systems are depleted and in need of slowing down, noticing our needs, allowing rest, co-regulating and deepening relationships with our bodies, and more focus on understanding and helping one another.

I know too well what it’s like to live in a body that feels out of sync and constantly bracing for a catastrophe.

In my late 30s and early 40s, despite ‘doing everything right’ - eating well, exercising, practicing yoga, taking supplements, trying affirmations and mindset work - I was struggling with fatigue, hormonal issues, digestive discomfort and an IBS diagnosis, recurring infections (that ended up being very serious a couple of times which was frightening), creeping anxiety and debilitating self-doubt.

I kept telling myself I needed a better routine, a new solution of some kind, as deep inside I felt lost, stuck and even though I could push through to exercise and meet friends - I was exhausted and in discomfort.

Until I understood that I was trapped in chasing symptoms with external fixes and needed support to look at my health, emotional state and chronic issues more holistically. I stopped bringing in new things to do, and started learning about my nervous system and how chronic stress showed up in my body as the chronic issues in my digestion, my immune system, hormonal imbalances, my brain (fog), and the disconnection from myself.

This systems-wide approach took me down the path of lasting and sustainable root cause resolution that no one fix or hack or technique could ever have achieved for me and my body. Once my nervous system felt safe again, the integrity of my body restored, the energy was no longer leaking, all the other systems were regulated as well and my issues resolved themselves.

Magical, you could say. it’s not magic, but it is magical in its effect. This is how your amazing body - this living breathing bio-organism - is built.

Looking at where your energy is being lost, learning to slow down enough to pay attention, listen and notice what you need, allows the nervous system to regulate and you can find freedom from fatigue and chronic stress and find more ease, joy and aliveness in your body and life.
