This nervous system work-based workshop series is for women who are ‘running on empty’ while holding so much together…

Is this you?

  • The more depleted you become, the harder you push. You say yes on auto-pilot, then burn out and feel resentment towards your partner/others. Carrying everything on your shoulders with a smile, while feeling alone. Everyone's got used to you doing it all, and you don't know how to stop without everything falling apart or upsetting and disappointing people.

  • You feel like you can never get your head above water to take a breath. Feeling guilty for being not at your best and not performing well. Avoiding people and activities you used to love. Steering clear of your partner, your friends, even your children - trying to protect them from your irritability and exhaustion.

  • You've tried therapy which has really helped but it couldn't shift the body-level exhaustion & anxiety or the deeper sense of helplessness. Yoga and meditation apps give you the temporary relief you so badly need but you still feel anxious and when stress amounts you’re back to reactivity. Supplements, elimination diets, mindset work, better sleep hygiene - it’s a lot to manage without deeper change ever coming. You've taken time off, but as soon as stress returns, so does the overwhelm.

Why? Your body's nervous system is depleted.

And here is what changes everything:

Your energy levels are inextricably linked with the state of your nervous system and the survival patterns operating it. It’s not about what you do, it’s how you are being.

When your emotions get stuck, so does your energy (and life!).

This is why restoring true, lasting resilience requires body-based tools that move and integrate the energy behind stored emotions and trapped tension patterns — slowly and safely.

And why no amount of mindset work, willpower, discipline, or ‘trying harder’ will fix a depleted nervous system or bring you joy and fulfilment you so deeply crave.

Another Way of Living Is Possible

If you've been following wellness advice, getting your energy back probably looks a lot like doing detox protocols or fasting. A lot of the wellness leads to short term relief, you feel better in the moment, but nothing is really changing at the deeper level - stress management that doesn't make you less reactive under stress, diets that stress your body out, self-care routines that become another thing you're failing at.

Here's what you might not realise: You're exhausted not just because you're juggling a lot - but because you're doing it all from a depleted nervous system that’s stuck in survival mode.

Traditional 'resets' keep you on the same hamster wheel, treating wellness like another achievement goal.

But when you address your depleted nervous system, energy and health can return naturally: organic, steady, and sustainable.

Energy reset isn't about what you're doing (you're already doing a lot!). It's about shifting the state of your being—from survival to connection.

Having energy again really can feel like being yourself. This Autumn Energy Reset helps you restore what's been drained—so you can stop running on empty and start living from energy that lasts.

Even just four weeks can change how you move through your days. Let me show you how.

What You’ll Gain from the Autumn Energy Reset

Autumn Energy Reset is a 4-week virtual live workshop series to help you restore your body’s energy at the root level of your nervous system by working with your own stress response in the body — so you can stop chasing symptoms and come home to yourself.

You’ll be able to regulate your nervous system in micro-moments with body-based tools and nourish your mind, body and soul with simple adjustments, which naturally helps to increase energy levels naturally, strengthen digestive system, clear brain fog - allowing for gradual decrease in inflammation, overwhelm and anxiety.

Here’s what you’ll come away with after our time together:

Understanding & Clarity

Gain a deeper understanding of why working at the body level is the most efficient way to restore energy and balance — and why mindset work alone hasn't been enough. Learn how stress shows up in your nervous system and how symptoms are your body's way of communicating depletion and calling for emotional realignment.

Practical Tools & Foundational Self-Regulation Skills

  • Receive simple, nourishing seasonal recipes and key nutrients to support your nervous system—helping you recover from exhaustion without restriction or rigid protocols.

  • Discover a new approach to self-care—not through busy to-do lists, but by being present in your body and listening to what it truly needs.

  • Explore body-based nervous system practices that connect you to sensations and emotions, and experience what self- and co-regulation actually feel like.

  • Take small, doable steps toward better boundaries—noticing people-pleasing patterns and learning to respond differently, without guilt.

Community & Support

  • Be part of a small, compassionate community of women who truly understand your experience—so you can finally put down what you've been holding alone and be met with real kindness.

  • Gain momentum and confidence from a time-limited, supported container—no more overwhelm about where to start. Leave with clarity, tools, and deep self-compassion.

‘The practice of feeling my sensations has helped immeasurably in my recovery of energy levels and emotional regulation.

‘To any woman who is thinking about doing this work with Katarina I want to say that if you would like to feel at ease with yourself and with what goes on around you, and you feel that you're worth it, do this work, and all you'll do is reaffirm that you're absolutely worth it, and it'll leave you so much more open and capable and nourished.’

‘I feel miles better than where I was at the beginning... I am less triggered with everything that is happening around me, because there's a lot of exhaustion connected to that.

I feel like I don't react all the time anymore. And when I feel anger coming in my body, I just sit with the sensations for a bit and it helps to process it better without going into the story or blaming or shaming myself for it.

I don’t feel so exhausted anymore. More resilience, more capacity to just respond to things in slightly different ways... not like the usual previous trigger reactivity that was just instant.’

- Katka (client)

Let me show you exactly what happens over these 4 weeks - and why it's different from anything you've tried.

The best way to help you understand what you'll get each week is to walk through each week in detail... Each week you will learn how to:

  • If you've been experiencing low grade anxiety - that persistent not-quite-right-ness and unsettled feeling in your body and mind - the chronic worry humming in the background even when there's nothing specific to worry about - you might be surprised to learn that much of it isn't 'all in your head.' It's actually coming from your body.

This is what I call false anxiety - physiological stress your body is experiencing from hidden stressors like blood sugar crashes, poor sleep, inflammation, and ruminating thoughts and overthinking everything, and overstimulation from caffeine and stimulants. It feels like anxiety, but it's actually your nervous system responding to physiological stress from external triggers that over-stimulate your system. And unlike true anxiety (which is your inner wisdom guiding you), false anxiety can be eliminated through simple adjustments.

    You'll discover:

    • Notice signs of activation in your nervous system and how to recognise what is keeping you chronically in fight-or-flight response.

    • Simple steps to stabilise your blood sugar for calmer nervous system and stronger digestive and immune systems.

    • Focus on somatic and embodiment practices which help your body feel more grounded and which bring you into the here and now.

    • Employ somatic and embodiment tools that create space between stimulus and response.

    • Curiosity practice that helps you notice your body's signals and sensations so you can give yourself what you need, without shame or judgment.

In class, we'll practice: Body-based awareness when you feel wired-but-tired or have a racing mind - asking curious questions like 'Was it one too many coffees? Did I go too long between meals?'

You'll learn to shift from shame- and blame- based self-talk to curious self-talk, track your triggers, and implement blood sugar balancing strategies you can use immediately for a more balance and healthier nervous system response.

    What becomes possible:

    • Your body can finally begin to settle. That wired-but-tired feeling starts to ease. The racing mind at night is more likely to calm. Digestive discomfort improves.

    • You'll experience clearer thinking, less rumination, steadier energy, better sleep, and the first sense of your body finding its natural rhythm again.

    • Space opens up in your body and mind for connection to your needs, and you can start to distinguish false anxiety from the true anxiety that's actually your inner wisdom speaking.

Includes: Seasonal autumn recipes throughout the programme for blood sugar balance and nervous system healing.

  • If you've been feeling stuck, fatigued and disconnected - while underneath that, feeling unsettled and always 'on' - your system might be stuck in functional freeze, a dorsal vagal shutdown (survival response).

When your system is stuck here, your body holds stored fight-or-flight activation underneath shutdown, and this can show up as symptoms of chronic fatigue, chronic pain, high-functioning depression, and chronic illness like autoimmune conditions.

In functional freeze the cells shift into energy conservation mode - your mitochondria stop producing energy efficiently, your brain becomes inflamed, and your capacity to feel emotions or know what you need shuts down.

    You'll discover:

    • How to recognise functional freeze patterns in your nervous system and how to support your system to move through it gently and efficiently.

    • Simple, effective somatic and embodiment practices which nourish your system and create safety in your body for root cause resolution.

    • How to honour your body's need for rest and gentle movement (no intense exercise - that keeps you stuck in freeze).

    • The essential nutrition to help restore cellular energy production.

    In class, we'll practice:

Building sensory literacy by noticing sensations in your body (no intense emotional processing as we build capacity in your system first!) - 'My shoulders feel tight,' 'I feel warmth in my chest when I pet my dog.'

We'll do gentle somatic movements together - slow, small movements with the skills of intention and attention - essential to healing at the nervous system level.

    What becomes possible:

    • Your health begins to improve - digestive issues that have persisted for years start to ease. If you've always felt cold, warmth returns to your body. The exhaustion that no amount of rest could fix starts to lift.

    • You can be still and rest more without it feeling unbearable.

    • Your relationships deepen because you're finally emotionally available - not just physically present but truly there. You realise you weren't broken - your nervous system was in freeze, and now it's learning to thaw and regulate.

Includes: Somatic regulation practices, sensory awareness skills, gentle movements you can do at home, essential nutrition that supports freeze recovery (warm soups, bone broth, healthy fats), and a Healing Functional Freeze guide as your resource for ongoing support.

  • Understand why you can't just 'set better boundaries' using your mindset work - and why you need to build the capacity in your body to hold them without crushing guilt

You might know this pattern as people-pleasing. Appeasing. Fitting in. Saying yes when you mean no. This is the so-called fawn response and it’s our nervous system’s survival strategy.

When we get stuck in fawning, it's not just emotionally draining... it's a full-body, nervous system response that's making women sick. Research shows that when this pattern becomes chronic it is linked to depression, anxiety, heart disease, IBS, autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, and other chronic conditions.

This happens because when you suppress what wants to be expressed – your anger, your no, your authentic needs – your body has to hold all that unexpressed energy. Your nervous system stays chronically activated. Your body never gets to rest. And over time, that constant activation shows up as disease.

This week, you'll discover that anger isn't bad – it's actually your body's way of protecting your boundaries.

    You'll discover:

    • Why people-pleasing is a nervous system response in the body, not a mindset problem

    • How boundaries need to be felt and capacity developed in the body through sensations

    • Why your nervous system needs capacity FIRST before boundaries can hold

    • How to work with suppressed anger as your body's wisdom and your soul's inner compass

    • Simple steps to shift this pattern through somatic, body-based work

    In class, we'll practice:

Feeling your physical boundaries and sensory experience of being in contact with your body and skin (our body’s boundary).

When we restore the signals between the body and brain of where we are in space, physically - we restore emotional capacity to hold boundaries in our lives.

This isn't about fixing anything - it's about remembering what a boundary actually feels like in your body.

    What becomes possible:

Reclaiming your voice isn’t just about speaking up, but about reconnecting with instinctual wisdom and healthy anger (not destructive outbursts) as protective forces that maintain boundaries, authentic relationships and vitality.

When you are more present in your body and feel your embodied boundaries you restore your energy and strengthen your immune system.

You don't fear your emotions but can feel them without being overwhelmed.

Real, sustainable energy comes from having a regulated nervous system – one that isn't constantly managing everyone's emotions or suppressing your needs.

Between sessions: Small, compassionate boundary and expression practices, plus reflections on how your body responds.

  • Integrate what you've learned, celebrate what's shifted, and create your sustainable path forward

In our final week, you’ll integrate everything you’ve learned, notice what has shifted, and celebrate your renewed connection to your body.
We’ll explore how to sustain your practices through winter so the calm and clarity you’ve cultivated continue to grow.

    You’ll come away with:

    • A sense of self-trust that lives in your body, not just your mind

    • Clarity about your patterns and what you need going forward

    • Tools and practices you can use for life

    • Connection and shared understanding within a supportive community

    • Hope and confidence that lasting change is truly possible

You’ll leave with a calmer mind, steadier energy, and tools to navigate stress and stay out of overwhelm less — anchored in your body’s wisdom and ready to move through the season with more ease.

Why This Workshop Is Different

Most wellness approaches have good intentions but many just add more to your already busy to-do list, trying to get you to be more disciplined: ‘just put more effort into it and you’ll be fixed.’ (No!)

The problem with this approach is that it leaves the actual problem in the nervous system unaddressed and for people with trauma stored in the body (most of us!) it can be shaming and isolating as well.

You can't think your way out of stress and anxiety because they are not problems in the mind - they are a nervous system problem.

The mind-over-matter approach ends up gaslighting yourself because positive thinking not only doesn’t get rid of the biology of stress and anxiety, it makes you feel more miserable.

Your exhaustion isn't a character flaw or a mindset problem. It's a depleted nervous system — from the pressure it’s been under to perform all the time and be ‘all things to all people’ while subconsciously abandoning your needs, desires and wants, deeming them insignificant.

Here's what I know to be true:

  • Nervous system regulation is key: You cannot effectively resolve stress-related health problems without incorporating the entirety of a person’s nervous system.

  • The body has a strong tendency toward healing. The system works well when we get out of its way and give it space to tune into its innate intelligence so it can process emotional experiences that have been overwhelming in our lives, metabolise the stored stress and overwhelm in the body which is keeping the system worn out and drained, and to build capacity to be with challenges and stress without burning out.

  • Your symptoms are communication, not failure. Your body is saying ‘check operating system’ - it's trying to tell you something.

  • We're not adding restrictions to stress your system even more. We're nourishing, resourcing and supporting. Adding what feels good and what brings you joy, not depriving.

  • Implementing small, incremental changes with awareness works. We can only work with what's available to your body at any given moment. That's how you learn to self-regulate and grow capacity.

  • Listen to whispers before they become screams. Your body communicates in whispers first (‘I need to go to bed’, ‘I need to eat’, ‘I need to process this experience’, ‘I need time to make this transition’). We steamroll over them because we think we need to hustle and perform. Then we reach the point where our body is shouting - chronic anxiety, chronic illness, and burnout.

  • This isn't about me fixing you - it's about you becoming your own best healer - learning to sense and track how your body responds to things. Learning to listen to what your body is saying and what you truly want. That alleviates confusion. It takes overwhelm out of your system. It grounds you in stress and challenges that life inevitably brings forth.

  • This is trauma-informed work where we understand that regulation has to precede correction and change. Otherwise we are constantly in the tug of war with our self-protective survival patterns that feels like resistance or avoidance. This also means we work gently, respect your capacity, and never push you beyond what feels safe. You're always in control. All sharing is optional.

Who I Am (and why I can guide you through this).

Like you, I lived the majority of my life doing everything to look capable on the outside while on the inside I felt like my soul was disappearing.

I was tired and wired from over-functioning but didn’t know it until I felt burnt out but still functioned through it because I am very strong willed and determined. My health issues were creeping up and I started to join the dots between emotional trauma, chronic stress and physical health. I lived with IBS for two decades that doctors couldn’t fix. Recuring infections, feeling lost and drained but still saying ‘I’m fine’.

I was doing everything - yoga, supplements, elimination diets. Doctors kept saying 'manage your stress' but couldn't tell me what that really meant and at no point was there a mention of a nervous system. The only reference to my nervous system was reference to me being highly strung. That I was too sensitive. Too reactive. Easily triggered into emotional outburst. But only ever in the context of this being my actual personality. No one ever explained to me that these were actually my system’s survival response and living with this into adulthood meant that my body was deeply depleted, not broken!

This understanding changed everything for me and helped me stumble upon embodiment and nervous system work session which was life changing. Something was happening when I was guided to work with my own system. It felt like coming home to myself, finally and for the first time I connected to the deeper wisdom and who I always knew deep inside that I was. All this without me having to talk about or remember trauma or analyse my past. My body knew what it needed - I just had to learn to listen.

I was relieved to learn that I didn’t need to work on my mindset as I disliked gratitude journals and repeating affirmations as they kept me stuck in my head while my being shut down from my body and my felt sense. When I discovered that the work was to simply come back to sensation and felt sense in my body - I was deeply relieved.

I learnt: I wasn't broken. My symptoms were communication. Change was possible. My body held wisdom and wholeness I'd been disconnected from.

That discovery then became the focus of my work. I trained in integrative nutrition, somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practices. I created my Embodied Resilience & Vitality Method because I needed it myself.

The self-trust piece changed everything. Not ‘trust yourself more’ as a concept - but actually feeling trust in your body, sensing what you need, knowing you can count on yourself to honour those needs.

That's what I help you build.

Now I share this method with women who are done with prescriptive wellness and ready for something real.

Training & Certifications:
Focalizing Practitioner (Trauma-Informed Somatic Healing), Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (IIN), Trauma-Informed Embodiment & Nervous System Regulation with Sukie Baxter, plus extensive study in structural body work and movement, polyvagal theory, and somatic therapy.

    • This programme is for you if you're experiencing tiredness which sleep doesn’t fix - the kind of tiredness that has wired energy underneath a collapse, so you keep moving and are functioning, but feel stuck deep inside. If you are noticing that the more depleted you become, the harder your mind wants to push. You feel stuck in over-giving, over-performing, and perfectionism and/or procrastination. If you are experiencing chronic health symptoms and doctors are telling you to ‘manage your stress’, or ‘remove the triggers’.

    • You've tried stress management, yoga, breathwork, meditation apps, supplements, and elimination diets—but nothing has created lasting change in how you feel. Your self-care has become performative, just another thing on your to-do list or you’ve given up on it altogether.

    • You're curious about trying something different, even if you've never done body-based or nervous system work before. You don't need to have your life together or be in a ‘good place’—in fact, most women who join know that their mind is saying one thing but their body is doing another. If you're willing to try a gentle, trauma-informed approach that works with your body (not just your mind), this is for you.

  • The programme runs for 4 weeks from Thursday, 13 November through Thursday, 4 December 2025.

  • Live group sessions are held weekly on Thursdays at 1-2:30pm UK time via Zoom. Each session runs for 90 minutes. All sessions are recorded, so if you miss a live session, you'll have access to the recording.

  • The minimum commitment is attending (or watching recordings of) four 90 minute weekly sessions. Between sessions, you'll receive optional daily practices (5-10 minutes) and simple exploratory experiments to try—but these are designed to be gentle and doable, not overwhelming. You choose what feels accessible based on your capacity. This isn't another demanding wellness routine that becomes a burden.

  • Yes. During each live session, there's time for Q&A and personalised guidance based on what's arising for participants. You can ask questions specific to your situation. Additionally, if you join from the waiting list, you'll receive a complimentary 40-minute one-on-one somatic and nervous system work session with Katarina during the programme for even more personalised support.

  • Not at all. This programme is designed for beginners. Everything is explained in plain language with practical examples. Many participants are completely new to body-based work and trauma-informed approaches. If you've never done anything like this before, you're in the right place.

  • All sharing is completely optional. You can participate as much or as little as feels right for you. Many women prefer to listen and absorb in the early sessions before feeling ready to share. You'll never be put on the spot or pressured to speak. Your comfort and safety are prioritised and I ask all participants to respect confidentiality.

  • Yes. This is trauma-informed work, which means we work gently, respect your boundaries, and never push you beyond what feels safe. You're always in control. We don't dig into past trauma or require you to share traumatic memories. The work focuses on present-moment body sensations and building capacity for regulation. Nothing is mandatory.

  • While we don't diagnose or treat specific medical conditions, the biology of chronic stress and trauma shows that chronic stress-related symptoms improve when we address nervous system dysregulation. Women doing body-based work and nervous system regulation work report improvements in sleep quality, digestive function, anxiety levels, chronic tension, and energy. This work addresses the root physiological patterns that contribute to many chronic symptoms.

This programme is however educational and complementary to (not a replacement for) medical care.

  • This is an educational programme with embodied practices, not therapy or medical treatment. We're teaching you about your nervous system and giving you practical tools to connect and regulate yourself. The focus is on building skills and capacity through body-based practices, not talking about problems or past experiences. Although we do talk about the systemic and cultural conditioning and the impact that the environment we live in has on shaping our nervous systems and trauma. This work can complement therapy beautifully, but it's a different approach—working from the body up rather than the mind down.

  • No. Video is optional for all sessions. You can keep your camera off and still fully participate, ask questions, and benefit from the teachings and practices.

  • All sessions are recorded and you'll have access to watch them afterwards. However, the live experience and community connection are valuable components, so we recommend attending live when possible. If you know you'll miss one session, that's fine—you can catch up with the recording.

  • We offer a full refund if you request it 48 hours before the first session. After that, no refunds are available, though you'll retain access to all recordings and programme materials.

  • Yes. Many participants (including me ) are introverts. The group is intentionally kept small to create an intimate, safe container. There are no forced ‘fun’ icebreakers or networking activities. The format balances teaching, guided practices, and optional sharing. You can participate at whatever level feels comfortable without pressure to be ‘on’ or perform.

  • Email me at katarina@katarinahunter.com and I'll be happy to answer any questions about whether this programme is right for you.
